Breaking News ! Local Bartender Found Dead in Roadside Bush.

At 05:07 am today, the mutilated body of George Sandburg was discovered dumped in the bushy area on the side of Blue Rabbit Street by Harry Mathews. George Sandburg was a 23 year old bartender at Mocair’s Pub and a good friend to everyone who knew her.

Harry Mathews says the following about the discovery of the body: “I woke up with a splitting headache today given that I left blackout drunk from June Kabot’s party. I think it was the smell that woke me. I found myself staring up at the grey sky when I opened my eyes so I turned to see where I was and there she was. George was looking back at me with those glassy, lifeless eyes. I was shocked beyond imagination. I quickly got up to check if she was alive but she had no pulse. A trail of blood that had trickled out of her mouth had dried on her cheek and a few flies buzzed around her face. I couldn’t believe it. I had just been talking to her yesterday. Her t-shirt had been torn across her torso to reveal a gaping wound. It was all strangely beautiful. As the horror of the event set in, I quickly called Antonio. I have nothing more to say about this. After all, I just lost one of my best friends.”
