A truly horrifying day...

Good Eveningg!! What a day this has been, my god. A murder, in our little town! So devastating. I never got to interact much with the ferryman but his death is the most tragic. Today started of very well. The sky had cleared in the morning so I had a little picnic by myself in my garden. It brings me utmost peace to really connect with nature whenever I can. I was in this tranquil environment, drinking my self brewed cherry tea when I got the notification of Harry Mathews posting about the ferryman’s death. Shortly after, Antonio also called for a meeting. I was so shaken by this event and concerned for the town that I threw on my old sundress and made my way straight to the Ant’s Nest. When I arrived, only Sariah Jacques was sitting at one of the tables, eating an omelette while I could hear Erin and Akeno in the kitchen. When Sariah saw me, she called me over and asked if I wanted to join. I was a bit taken aback at that. I told her that I was too affected by the shocking events of today morning to have any appetite left. For some reason, Sariah chuckled at that. It was a bit weird. I asked her if there was any way that I could help and Sariah said something along the lines of becoming the mommy of the incoming weeping women. I guess it was supposed to be a funny pun about the name of my grocery store, but I didn’t get the joke. Sariah is weird. I really did end up joining the table of the middle-aged women who, bless their hearts, were so very grieved by the murder. Antonio came in after and Harry immediately followed. He was following Antonio around, apologising for what he had done. Antonio is scary when he is angry. He then sent Jose, who had just arrived to ‘manage the ladies’. I don’t understand what he means but Jose also then joined our table. Mocair was sitting silently with Akira and George who seemed to be enjoying the situation. Erin and Akeno finally came out of the kitchen and took their seats too. Drew and Yusuf were huddled together at the back of the room. The last one to arrive was, of course, Klaudia. She never had much respect for time. I had to go back to my store then. I hate the dread that everyone is filled with.
