A man stands with his back towards us on a misty path on the island.

Far off the mainland lies the tiny island of Éadóchas (pronounced ae-do-kus). Surrounded by stormy seas which make contact with the mainland almost impossible. The weather conditions around the island are extremely erratic and unstable, ranging from heavy rains to pleasant, perfect sunny days. The island was first inhabited in the 1800s by seafarers who were looking for a watering hole on their way to the mainland. However signs of human inhabitation prior to that were soon discovered making the island a hotbed for history and archaeology enthusiasts though few made the arduous journey to the island. The north western parts of the island are made up of a jugged rocks and tall mountains with unexplored cave structures underneath the surface creating a network of caverns and catacombs. The town of Éadóchas lies to the east and is home to the Kabot family, who are descendants of far relatives of the royal family of the mainland. The important structures of the town include:

1. The Harbour

2. The Rotting Sun Daily Office

3. MommyJune’s Grocery Store and Bakery

4. The Éadóchas Public School

5. The Éadóchas Library

6. The Coroner’s Office

7. The Morgue/The Clinic

8. The Temple

9. The Church

10. Mocair’s Pub

11. Everyone’s houses (Kabot Manor)

12. Feel Good Garage

13. The Ant’s Nest Hotel and Restaurant
