I wasn’t going to write here today but I had to, given the circumstances. So, this is going to be a short one but a definitely important one and a heart wrenching one too. Jose is gone. Gone. It’s not even been a month since Antonio died and now we have lost Jose too. I feel so angry and so goddamn heartbroken. Everything is falling apart. Jose would be in the Manor a lot of times and though we weren’t half as close as Antonio and I were, he was always a warm presence and a kind heart to be around. He was murdered. Apparently, it is the same killer as the ferryman, the photographer and George’s murder. Erin got a call from a frantic Mocair today around 11:30 am saying that he had discovered a dead Jose when he had gone to apologise to him that morning after everything that happened yesterday. Erin was shocked beyond belief but she hurried away. She didn’t tell me or June about what was going on till after it was confirmed. She called the Manor and told me. I didn’t know how to tell this to June. I just ended up blurting it out the moment I saw her and I saw her face contort from interest to confusion to utter shock and then horror. She was speechless. All she kept repeating was that she couldn’t believe it. In her defence, I cannot too. This is yet another murder and we are nowhere closer to finding out who the killer is. This is terrifying. Erin hasn’t been home since she was called to the crime scene but I think she will agree with me when I say that we need to abandon our investigation of the photographer’s murder and focus on Jose’s murder while the trail is still warm. I wonder how Drew is doing. She has really been through the worst trying to help Jose. I need to talk to her too. There isn’t much to say right now and I am terribly sorry for this tiny update. I still can’t believe what has happened. I wish I had more to report. All I can say right now is that this is looking terrible for Mocair. I’ll take your leave now.
